The calculator uses a curated food list for common Indian staples, dals, legumes, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, dairy, and extras. Adult targets use 25g/day as the floor, 35g/day as the practical midpoint, and 40g/day as the stretch target. Production use should replace prototype values with permissioned IFCT 2017, INDB, and USDA FoodData Central records as applicable.
